Greg Alexandrian, Chair and Associate Professor in the CIS Department, holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Armenian National Academy of Sciences (Yerevan, Armenia). A specialist in the area of weakly hyperbolic equations and pseudo-differential operators, he became interested in software development and Agile System Development methodology, and is certified as a Scrum Master. Greg primarily teaches programming courses.

Greg’s hobbies are mostly related to car racing/repair, as well as downhill skiing. He enjoys travel, and has lived and taught in multiple places in Europe including Yerevan, Armenia; Moscow, Russia; and Zagreb, Croatia.
